Refund Policy


General Refund Policy

Refunds are avialbale if you are unable to attend a program. A 10% fee will be assessed if the reason is not medical. If a refund is requested due to a medical situation, a full refund will be granted as long as a doctors/medical record is shown proving the inability to participate. 

Refunds will not be granted if a program in underway. 


Southborough Recreation COVID-19 Refund Policy
 

 
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Southborough Recreation Department has re-evaluated and put into place a new temporary refund policy to address programming that has or will be affected by this public health situation. Below is an outline of our updated policy that will remain in effect until August 28, 2020 (To be extended if pandemic continues into the fall season)
 
  • If a program is Officially Cancelled by Southborough Recreation due to a recommendation by the CDC or the State and local Dept. of Health, customers can elect to take a refund or a credit in the total amount of your registration. Credits will be applied directly to your registered household, will have no expiration date, and can be applied to any program. Credits can be used for any member of your household.  
  • If a customer has registered for a program and elects not to attend a program due to safety concerns regarding COVID 19, they will be offered the option of a program credit, or a full refund if requested 2 weeks prior to the program's start date. If requested within the two week period, 10% will be deducted from your refund.  
  • Refunds will NOT be granted if requested while your registered program in in session. Exceptions will only be made if the reason is medical, in which a Doctor’s note will be required. Refunds of this situation will be prorated to reflect days of attendance
