We are all natural born storytellers; sometimes we just need a little encouragement. Write Now! is a club that will provide an opportunity to share your writing with a small group of other adult writers, get and give valuable feedback, and explore various genres of creative writing. No experience is required; all you’ll need is a willingness to write down and share your stories. Our first session will meet every other week for four workshop meetings. Because of lingering Covid-19 concerns, we will meet on Zoom for July and August, then reassess future meeting locations. The intention is to create an ongoing community where we can share and support each other's writing. 

Workshop leader: Janet Davis Karman is a retired English teacher who taught literature, creative writing, and journalism for 16 years in Wayland and Newton. She has participated in and led creative writing workshops and has helped numerous writers prepare their work for publication. Prior to teaching, Janet was an attorney in the publishing field, and prior to practicing law, she graduated from Cornell University with a degree in English and creative writing.
