Counselor in Training Program 2022 (CIT)

CIT
Southborough Recreation’s Counselor in Training program is a specialized part of our summer camp program for children ages 13-14 , looking to acquire counselor skills while assisting in the work of our summer camp program. CITs will learn behavior management, team-building, communication and activity leadership by helping counselors work with younger campers.  CITs will work directly with the Camp Program Supervisor as well as the full time Recreation office staff. Spaces are limited to 12 slots a week for both full and half day.

New to 2022, CITs will work across both age groups to be exposed to as many situations and experiences as possible. CITs will be assigned at the start of each week and rotated as needed throughout the summer weeks. Spaces are extremely limited

CITs are responsible for bringing their own snacks and lunch as well as a water bottle. They will be provided at "CIT" uniform shirt to be worn each day.
