Winter Hoops with the Southborough Police Department
Registration Opens Monday November 17th
Southborough Recreation, Southborough Youth Basketball, and the Southborough Police Department are teaming up for Winter Hoops!
Join us on Friday nights in January for an evening of basketball, fun, and community connection. Co-eds in designated age groups will be dropped off at 7:00 PM at the Public Safety Building, where they’ll meet some of Southborough’s police officers and command staff for a brief Q&A session. From there, the group will walk to Woodward School for an hour of open gym and friendly pickup games. Players will return to the Police Department for parent pickup at 9:00 PM.
Program Dates:
- Grades 5–6: January 9 & January 23
- Grades 7–8: January 16 & January 30
Sign up for one or both sessions! This is a great opportunity to learn more about your community’s police department, make new connections, and get in some extra reps on the court.
Program Details:
- Cost: Free
- Drop-off: 7:00 PM at Southborough Public Safety Building
- Pickup: 9:00 PM at Southborough Public Safety Building
- What to Bring: Basketball shoes (please wear other footwear to walk over), a basketball, and a water bottle
- Registration open to Southborough Residents Only
