Enter into the magical and exciting world of chess with Chess Wizards! You will participate in epic chess games, fun and interactive lessons, tournaments, team matches, trivia and more! Our specialized classes are a blast for everyone from kindergarten through fifth grade. Whether you have been playing chess for a while or just learning the game. All levels are welcome!

FAST SPORTS: Floor Hockey - Finn Floor Hockey
Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some floor hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion floor hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.

Lego Adventures - Finn Lego Adventures: Get Your Lego Game On!
Are you a Lego master? If so, it’s time to show off your skills! Each week we present a new building challenge: From skyscrapers to zoos, bridges to airports, malls to main streets, and everything in between! First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will review the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks or how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed. Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it. Learning and Legos:Now that’s an adventure!

Paradise Island: Halloween & Thanksgiving Nailed It - Finn Halloween & Thanksgiving Nailed It
Just like on the popular TV show, kids will be tasked with a challenge to re-create a confectionary masterpiece using pre-made ingredients like fondant, cake, cupcakes, rice krispies, and various frostings/icings based on Fall Halloween and Thanksgiving Themes. No experience necessary, just bring yourself, your imagination & take all of your masterpieces home to enjoy! All ingredients used are nut-free however; some pre-made ingredients may be processed in a facility that also processes nuts.

Certain Victory: Martial Arts - Finn Martial Arts
In this American Freestyle Mixed Martial Arts Program, children will develop vital life skills: Discipline, Motivation, Respect, and how to build confidence and make healthy life choices. These values are at the heart of this martial arts program. Students will learn creative self-defense tactics with a variety of martial arts such as Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Krav Maga, and Jiu-Jitsu. Certain Victory’s Martial Arts Program focuses on power and control instilling a Can Do Attitude!

Southborough Recreation has partnered with Southborough Youth Basketball to offer you Pre-k Biddy Basketball. Come prepared to learn and sweat in this 9-week program with Game Time Training! Learn the very basics of basketball and then graduate to our intermediate program in a jiff! In this program, we ensure each player understands the spots on the court, the importance of triple threat position, dribbling technique, shooting technique and defense, defense, and DEFENSE! Like all GTT programs, the music is blaring, the energy is alive and the kids have a blast! Must be potty trained.
