You’ll learn how to cut glass, grind, foil, solder, and finish your piece, leaving with a beautiful monstera leaf ready to hang in a sunny window. Safe Sitter® babysitting classes have been preparing young teens to care for younger children for over 40 years. The program follows guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. Students will learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. They will learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering and baby care. Learn skills such as choking rescue and learning a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students will receive a certification of completion of the class. This is a two-day course: Participants will attend both classes.Wednesday, March 11th and Thursday, March 12th, 4:30-7:00PM (Both days are required)Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th, 4:30-7:00PM (Both days are required)Ages 10-16 This is a parent drop-off and pick-up program.

Stained Glass Nightlight Workshop (Beginner Friendly) Discover the beauty of stained glass in this hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own custom nightlight using the Tiffany copper foil method. Perfect for beginners, this class will guide you step-by-step through the entire process—from raw glass to a finished, glowing piece of art. Participants will learn essential stained glass techniques including how to safely cut glass, shape pieces using a grinder, apply copper foil, and solder everything together into a finished design. By the end of the class, you’ll have a handcrafted nightlight to proudly display in your home or give as a unique, handmade gift.
