 Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class   This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly.   Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. Led by an instructor, learn the game's rules, techniques and skills and join your community on the courts! During this time, we’ll focus on learning practical cooking skills, while finding fun ways to enjoy the produce of the season!We will use every second of our time together! Along with cooking and tasting, which will be the emphasis, we’ll also take short breaks to burn up some calories and flex our brain muscles – digging a bit deeper into the world of nutrition with fun activities.Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy KTK, where participation is expected, but tasting is always optional.Each session arrives with fresh new recipes and ideas to inspire your healthy eater!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Safe@Home is ideal for students that have expressed interest in assuming the responsibility of staying home alone. Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.Offering three dates in 2026:Thursday, February 26th 4:30pm-6:30pmWednesday, April 15th 4:30pm-6:30pmWednesday, June 3rd 4:30pm-6:30pmSouthborough Recreation will not be providing transportation to this program due to the later start time.   Parents are responsible for 4:30pm drop off and 6:30pm pick up at the Recreation Department, 21 Highland Street, Southborough.

Let your imagination go wild! Come create your own work of art using hand-building techniques such as coil, slab, pinching and sculpting.  Glazing techniques will be taught as well.  Students will make their own ice cream bowl and enjoy an ice cream social at the end of the session. Southborough Recreation will transport Neary Students to the Recreation Center.Parents:  Please pack a nut free snack for your child.PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AT THE RECREATION CENTER LOCATED 21 HIGHLAND ST.
