Amazing 100 Experiments Hands-On Science! Come join this very cool and fun elementary school summer program! Over the past 30 years, Top Secret Science has worked hands-on with over 1.5 million local children.  Each day the kids will explore up to 20 weird and wacky hands-on science experiments and will make and take home at least 10 different projects. The scientists are fast paced and funny and your kids will be thoroughly entertained (they’ll even learn some interesting things too). We will explore weird motions and flying things, air and water pressure; crazy chemistry, light and sound, science magic, electricity, magnets, astronomy and more.  Each child receives a Top Secret Science T-Shirt.Session I: June 29th-July 2nd (no class Friday, July 3rd)Location: 21 Highland Street, Southborough9:00AM-3:00PMAges 5-11Session II: August 17th-August 21stLocation: 21 Highland Street, Southborough9:00AM-3:00PMAges 5-11Please have your child bring a nut free lunch and water bottle daily.

Join resident instructor Chris Gazarian as he leads individuals of all levels who are interested in enhancing their pottery skills and knowledge. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function and will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. This 9-week class will also include a brief introduction to the potter's wheel for creating functional work. Space is Limited.Location: Recreation Department Pottery Studio, 21 Highland StDates:  Wednesdays, September 9th-November 11thTime: 6pm-8pm$180

Let your imagination go wild! Come create your own work of art using hand-building techniques such as coil, slab, pinching and sculpting.  Glazing techniques will be taught as well.  Students will make their own ice cream bowl and enjoy an ice cream social at the end of the session. RAP IMondays, September 14th, 28th, October 5th, 19th, and 26th3:05pm-5:00pmSouthborough Recreation will transport Neary Students to the Recreation Center.PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AT THE RECREATION CENTER LOCATED 21 HIGHLAND ST. Cooking is a life skill, and so is eating!On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids’ Test Kitchen’s enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Students engage with food in a way that is both educational and fun. Through hands-on experience, kids are taught the value of fresh, healthy ingredients and gainappreciation for the process of transforming those ingredients into a finished product. Each class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work.Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation isencouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own.Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned at home!Parents report their kids come home from Kids’ Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new flavors! Reluctant eaters learn that food is safe and fun! And everyone practices essential life skills like teamwork, time management, and patience, along with the obvious skills like slicing, measuring, and cooking! Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies andcan work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe.LOCATION/TIME:ALL Kids Test Kitchen RAPs WILL BE OFFSITE AT THE RECREATION BUILDING, 21 HIGHLAND STREET, SOUTHBOROUGHWOODWARD RAP- Students will be picked up and transported to the Recreation Building for class.  Parent pick up is required at 4:30pm at the Recreation Building*Families who have students with allergies or other necessary dietary modifications are required to complete the linked form
