Spring Stained Glass Class: Monstera Leaf WorkshopFriday, 5/1 - 5:00PM-9:00PM Create a stunning, light-catching Monstera Leaf in this hands-on stained glass workshop—perfect for beginners and returning students alike. Inspired by the bold shapes and vibrant greens of tropical foliage, this class will guide you step by step through the Tiffany copper foil method. You’ll learn how to cut glass, grind, foil, solder, and finish your piece, leaving with a beautiful monstera leaf ready to hang in a sunny window. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxing, rewarding immersion in stained glass art. Ages 13+(teens must be accompanied by an adult) 		Recreation Department - Recreation Department - Art Studio

Let your imagination go wild! Come create your own work of art using hand-building techniques such as coil, slab, pinching and sculpting.  Glazing techniques will be taught as well.  Students will make their own ice cream bowl and enjoy an ice cream social at the end of the session. RAP III February 27th - April 10th (no class 3/20 or 4/3)Time: 3:05pm-5:00pmRAP IIIIMay 8th - June 5thTime: 3:05pm-5:00pmSouthborough Recreation will transport Neary Students to the Recreation Center.PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AT THE RECREATION CENTER LOCATED 21 HIGHLAND ST. Stained Glass Nightlight Workshop (Beginner Friendly) Discover the beauty of stained glass in this hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own custom nightlight using the Tiffany copper foil method. Perfect for beginners, this class will guide you step-by-step through the entire process—from raw glass to a finished, glowing piece of art. Participants will learn essential stained glass techniques including how to safely cut glass, shape pieces using a grinder, apply copper foil, and solder everything together into a finished design. By the end of the class, you’ll have a handcrafted nightlight to proudly display in your home or give as a unique, handmade gift.
