April School Vacation: Top Secret Kids - Top Secret Kids April Break - Amazing 80 Experiments Hands-On Science!
Come join this very cool and fun elementary school 4 day April Vacation program! Each day kids will explore up to 20 weird and wacky hands-on science experiments and will make and take home at least 10 different projects. The scientists are fast paced and funny and your kids will be thoroughly entertained (they’ll even learn some interesting things too). We will explore weird motions and flying things, air and water pressure, crazy chemistry, light and sound, science magic, electricity, magnets, astronomy and more. Each child receives a Top Secret Science T-Shirt!

Women's Recreation Slow Pitch Softball League - Southborough Rec Women's Slow Pitch League
Join Southborough Recreation as we take part in recreational league play with Northborough, Westborough, Grafton, and Hudson Recreation. This league is not super competitive, but if you sign up, you must have some experience playing.Teams will play one game per week at either 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northborough, Southborough, and Westborough. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their own gloves. Batting helmets are not required.The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Children with intellectual disabilities are invited to come and play in this non competitive environment with focus on learning soccer and making friends. Women's Recreation Slow Pitch Softball League - Southborough Rec Women's Slow Pitch League
Join Southborough Recreation as we take part in recreational league play with Northborough, Westborough, Grafton, and Hudson Recreation. This league is not super competitive, but if you sign up, you must have some experience playing.Teams will play one game per week at either 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northborough, Southborough, and Westborough. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their own gloves. Batting helmets are not required.The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Come join our Minds in Motion Crime Team in this fun and interesting program! We will provide you with all the tools you need to become your very own crime scene investigator. Learn all about forensics, searching for evidence, and gathering clues! Working in groups, you will conduct many science experiments in our crime lab to solve the mysteries at hand. You will learn all about fingerprinting and how to classify them and bring home your very own fingerprint classification sheet! You will also perform chemical analyses and observations working with powders, liquids, and much much more! Be amazed at how much science plays a part in solving a crime. Each week in Lego Adventures, there is a new challenge to build: From skyscrapers to farms, bridges to airports, space stations to main streets, and everything in between! First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will review the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks, how Depression-era farms survived hordes of grasshoppers, how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed. Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each type of structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it. Do you wish you had a class that taught you how to handle your finances when you were young? Well, here is an opportunity for your kids! In this class, your child will learn about the history of money, recognize different denominations in paper and coins, learn how to count money bills/coins, and make transactions. We will talk about ways to save, as a penny saved is a penny earned, and the importance of how to spend and budget money. Financial topics such as bank, interest, loan and other investment vehicles will also be discussed. These are life lessons that will enrich their lives forever. All terms will be explained in a simple easy to understand fun manner with interactive activities.

Join Southborough Recreation as we take part in recreational league play with Northborough, Westborough, Grafton, and Hudson Recreation. This league is not super competitive, but if you sign up, you must have some experience playing.Teams will play one game per week at either 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northborough, Southborough, and Westborough. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their own gloves. Batting helmets are not required.The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Learn all about forensics, searching for evidence, and gathering clues! Working in groups, you will conduct many science experiments in our crime lab to solve the mysteries at hand. You will learn all about fingerprinting and how to classify them and bring home your very own fingerprint classification sheet! First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will review the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks, how Depression-era farms survived hordes of grasshoppers, how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed. Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each type of structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it. Do you wish you had a class that taught you how to handle your finances when you were young? Well, here is an opportunity for your kids! In this class, your child will learn about the history of money, recognize different denominations in paper and coins, learn how to count money bills/coins, and make transactions. We will talk about ways to save, as a penny saved is a penny earned, and the importance of how to spend and budget money. Financial topics such as bank, interest, loan and other investment vehicles will also be discussed. These are life lessons that will enrich their lives forever. STEM Beginnings provides fun-filled experiences that encourage children's curiosity and learning. Children engage in challenges that allow them to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math concepts using a variety of tools and techniques: from simple experiments and building challenges to art and crafts, and fun games! We offer a wide range of STEM lessons that help children learn new things, discover how things work, and create solutions to problems. We stimulate their minds and empower them to be life-long learners.

Women's Recreation Slow Pitch Softball League - Southborough Rec Women's Slow Pitch League
Join Southborough Recreation as we take part in recreational league play with Northborough, Westborough, Grafton, and Hudson Recreation. This league is not super competitive, but if you sign up, you must have some experience playing.Teams will play one game per week at either 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northborough, Southborough, and Westborough. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their own gloves. Batting helmets are not required.The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required).
