Join resident instructor Chris Gazarian as he leads individuals of all levels who are interested in enhancing their pottery skills and knowledge. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function and will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. Everyone loves gnomes! Join us to make a fun gnome friend using the traditional Tiffany-style method in stained glass. No experience necessary. You'll learn how to cut, grind, foil, solder, and care for stained glass. This is a one-day class, and all class supplies will be provided. All participants will leave with a unique, fun gnome suncatcher.13+ (teens must be accompanied by an adult)

Our 2nd Annual House Decorating Contest Is your house decorated for the holidays? Enter your home in our 2nd Annual Holiday Decorating Contest. Get creative, get outside, and get the WHOLE family involved. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 winners (along with bragging rights). Homes will be judged on creativity, use of décor, and overall appearance.  All addresses will be made public so residents can view your displays! A map will be released leading up to the voting.Registration Opens November 21st  Participating homes must be registered by the deadline of Monday, December 15th

4:30 PM - 7:00 PM    Safe Sitter ® Babysitting class + CPR/AED certification - Safe Sitter ® babysitting class + CPR/AED certification
Safe Sitter® babysitting classes have been preparing young teens to care for younger children for over 40 years. The program follows guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. Students will learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. They will learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering and baby care. Learn skills such as choking rescue and learning a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students will receive a certification of completion of the class. This is a two-day course: Participants will attend both classes.Tuesday, October 21 & Thursday, October 23, 4:30-7:00PM (Both days are required)Monday, November 24 & Tuesday, November 25, 4:30-7:00PM (Both days are required)Ages 10-16 This is a parent drop-off and pick-up program.
