This class is for students with little or no experience with clay who are interested in learning basic pottery techniques. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function. In this class, students will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. This class will also include a brief introduction to the potter's wheel for creating functional work
