Counselor in Training Program Summer 2025 (CIT) - CIT week 1 REGISTRATION FOR THE CIT PROGRAM IS CLOSEDCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING: Ages 13 & 14 June 30th to August 15th 2025 MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM Location: Woodward Elementary School $175.00 per week (Week I $140.00)Invoices will be sent upon acceptance into the program. ALERT: NEW PROCESS Southborough Recreation’s Counselor in Training program is a specialized part of our summer camp for ages 13-14 looking to acquire skills while assisting in the work of our summer program. All CIT’s will be required to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or group leader, and interview for their position prior to official enrollment into this program. An invoice will be sent through MyRec upon acceptance. CIT Letter of Recommendation and Letter of Intent Due APRIL 1st Selected CIT’s will be exposed to situations such as behavior management, safety, programming, and team building. CITs will work across both age groups to be exposed to as many situations and experiences as possible. CITs will be assigned at the start of each week and rotated as needed throughout the summer weeks. Spaces are extremely limited. Southborough Recreation Summer 2025 -- Fayville HALF DAY(Ages 4-6) - Fayville Half Day Week 3 Join Southborough Recreation for seven (7) weeks of fun through our 2025 Summer Season! Southborough Recreation Summer exposes children to a wide variety of programming on-site and off-site. From traditional activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and special events, to off-site visits to surrounding Southborough facilities, your child will enjoy an active summer with friends!Our Summer staff consists of high school and college aged individuals who are CPR/First Aid certified and trained extensively by the Southborough Recreation staff to ensure your child has the most rewarding summer possible. Children will be grouped and split up by age: 4–6 years old (Fayville Summer) and 7–12 years old (Cordaville Summer). Medical forms are due by May 29, 2025. If medical forms are not received, Southborough Recreation reserves the right to remove your enrollment from the program with no refund. Forms can now be uploaded to your child's MyRec account or mailed to 21 Highland Street, Southborough, MA 01772. The Recreation Department strives to make programs accessible to all. Counselor in Training Program Summer 2025 (CIT) - CIT Week 4 REGISTRATION FOR THE CIT PROGRAM IS CLOSEDCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING: Ages 13 & 14 June 30th to August 15th 2025 MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM Location: Woodward Elementary School $175.00 per week (Week I $140.00)Invoices will be sent upon acceptance into the program. ALERT: NEW PROCESS Southborough Recreation’s Counselor in Training program is a specialized part of our summer camp for ages 13-14 looking to acquire skills while assisting in the work of our summer program. All CIT’s will be required to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or group leader, and interview for their position prior to official enrollment into this program. An invoice will be sent through MyRec upon acceptance. CIT Letter of Recommendation and Letter of Intent Due APRIL 1st Selected CIT’s will be exposed to situations such as behavior management, safety, programming, and team building. CITs will work across both age groups to be exposed to as many situations and experiences as possible. CITs will be assigned at the start of each week and rotated as needed throughout the summer weeks. Spaces are extremely limited. Counselor in Training Program Summer 2025 (CIT) - CIT Week 5 REGISTRATION FOR THE CIT PROGRAM IS CLOSEDCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING: Ages 13 & 14 June 30th to August 15th 2025 MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM Location: Woodward Elementary School $175.00 per week (Week I $140.00)Invoices will be sent upon acceptance into the program. ALERT: NEW PROCESS Southborough Recreation’s Counselor in Training program is a specialized part of our summer camp for ages 13-14 looking to acquire skills while assisting in the work of our summer program. All CIT’s will be required to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or group leader, and interview for their position prior to official enrollment into this program. An invoice will be sent through MyRec upon acceptance. CIT Letter of Recommendation and Letter of Intent Due APRIL 1st Selected CIT’s will be exposed to situations such as behavior management, safety, programming, and team building. CITs will work across both age groups to be exposed to as many situations and experiences as possible. CITs will be assigned at the start of each week and rotated as needed throughout the summer weeks. Spaces are extremely limited.
