Pickleball Lessons - Spring Pickleball Lessons Beginner 1 Morning
BEGINNER 1Come join Southborough Recreation as we offer an instructional pickleball program for people new to the sport or just beginning. Led by an instructor, learn the game's rules, techniques and skills and join your community on the courts! Our curriculum will begin with the basics and end with participants playing full games against each other.- Space is limited to 8 players per session.- Limited equipment available to use. Adult Pottery/Ceramics - Adult Pottery/Ceramics
Join resident instructor Chris Gazarian as he leads individuals of all levels who are interested in enhancing their pottery skills and knowledge. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function and will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. This 10-week class will also include a brief introduction to the potter's wheel for creating functional work.

Track season is here!The Track and Field Program focuses on an introduction to several events such as distance running, relays, long jump, shot put, and javelin. Conditioning techniques are also stressed, in addition to practice time. There will be opportunities to participate in track meets throughout the season.
The track season runs April 1 through May 29th (taking into account potential states qualifications-Middle School State Meet is June 6th). Practices will be held on Tuesdays from 2:15pm - 3:30pm and Thursdays 2:15pm - 3:30pm (late bus is available). Meets will take place the following dates at 3:45 PM. Students will learn putting technique through fun drills and games working to improve accuracy, control and mastering the basics. As the program progresses, students will work in teams to design and build new holes every week with fun themes the jump start children's activity and imagination. Teamwork, creative problem solving, and hands on learning and play all rolled into one. Whether your child is a budding golf pro or just looking for a creative adventure, this program is sure to be a hole in one!

In this exciting, hands-on program students will dive in the fun world of mini-golf! The unique program is designed to blend creativity, teamwork, and fundamental golf skills into an engaging experience. Students will learn putting technique through fun drills and games working to improve accuracy, control and mastering the basics. As the program progresses, students will work in teams to design and build new holes every week with fun themes the jump start children's activity and imagination. Teamwork, creative problem solving, and hands on learning and play all rolled into one. Whether your child is a budding golf pro or just looking for a creative adventure, this program is sure to be a hole in one!

Track season is here!The Track and Field Program focuses on an introduction to several events such as distance running, relays, long jump, shot put, and javelin. Conditioning techniques are also stressed, in addition to practice time. There will be opportunities to participate in track meets throughout the season.
The track season runs April 1 through May 29th (taking into account potential states qualifications-Middle School State Meet is June 6th). Practices will be held on Tuesdays from 2:15pm - 3:30pm and Thursdays 2:15pm - 3:30pm (late bus is available). Meets will take place the following dates at 3:45 PM. Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. She enjoys designing unique pieces and sharing her passion for stained glass with others. Join resident instructor Chris Gazarian as he leads individuals of all levels who are interested in enhancing their pottery skills and knowledge. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function and will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. This 10-week class will also include a brief introduction to the potter's wheel for creating functional work.

Track season is here!The Track and Field Program focuses on an introduction to several events such as distance running, relays, long jump, shot put, and javelin. Conditioning techniques are also stressed, in addition to practice time. There will be opportunities to participate in track meets throughout the season.
The track season runs April 1 through May 29th (taking into account potential states qualifications-Middle School State Meet is June 6th). Practices will be held on Tuesdays from 2:15pm - 3:30pm and Thursdays 2:15pm - 3:30pm (late bus is available). Meets will take place the following dates at 3:45 PM. Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. She enjoys designing unique pieces and sharing her passion for stained glass with others. Track season is here!The Track and Field Program focuses on an introduction to several events such as distance running, relays, long jump, shot put, and javelin. Conditioning techniques are also stressed, in addition to practice time. There will be opportunities to participate in track meets throughout the season.
The track season runs April 1 through May 29th (taking into account potential states qualifications-Middle School State Meet is June 6th). We’ll meet at the Recreation building at 11:30 AM with plans to head into the city for a 1:35 PM first pitch. Return time will be late afternoon and pick up time will be early evening. Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. She enjoys designing unique pieces and sharing her passion for stained glass with others. Join Southborough Recreation as we take part in recreational league play with Northborough, Westborough, Grafton, and Hudson Recreation. This league is not super competitive, but if you sign up, you must have some experience playing.Teams will play one game per week at either 4:30pm or 6pm in a nearby town. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their own gloves. Batting helmets are not required.The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided prior to the start of the season. Join resident instructor Chris Gazarian as he leads individuals of all levels who are interested in enhancing their pottery skills and knowledge. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function and will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. This 10-week class will also include a brief introduction to the potter's wheel for creating functional work.

Trottier Track and Field - Trottier Track and Field
Track season is here!The Track and Field Program focuses on an introduction to several events such as distance running, relays, long jump, shot put, and javelin. Conditioning techniques are also stressed, in addition to practice time. There will be opportunities to participate in track meets throughout the season.
The track season runs April 1 through May 29th (taking into account potential states qualifications-Middle School State Meet is June 6th). Practices will be held on Tuesdays from 2:15pm - 3:30pm and Thursdays 2:15pm - 3:30pm (late bus is available). Meets will take place the following dates at 3:45 PM. April 7th vs Bromfield May 1st vs AMSA May 8th vs Bernadette'sMay 22nd vs SawyerStudent should arrive at the Trottier track at 3:15PM on meet daysSpace is limited. Registration Opens: Monday March 17th at 6pm

Newcomers are ALWAYS welcome. Attendance need not be regular! This is a pickup league – we call our own fouls and keep our own score. Open to residents and non-residents!
