Back 9 Golf After School Golf Skills & Games - Back 9 Golf After School Golf Skills & Games Introduce young golfers to the game in a fun, welcoming indoor environment at Back Nine Golf Southborough. This after-school program blends skill development with game-based play, helping students build confidence while learning the fundamentals of golf. Using state-of-the-art simulators, students will work on full swings, short game, and putting through engaging drills and friendly challenges—no prior experience required. Clubs are available on site, or students may bring their own. Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Spring Sessions - Recreation Stained Glass Spring Session Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Spring Sessions - Recreation Stained Glass Spring Session Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. First, we let kids get the wiggles and giggles out with 10 minutes of free play and review of past taught topics. We then go right into the week's lessons. All lessons have an activity and homework to accompany them and we have well over 80 different lessons to keep challenging our little wizards! Our most popular RAP class of 2025 returns with enhanced staff support, refreshed programming, and high-energy fun students will love. Get ready for an even more exciting session of Mini Golf with Skyhawks.In this exciting, hands-on program students will dive in the fun world of mini-golf! The unique program is designed to blend creativity, teamwork, and fundamental golf skills into an engaging experience. Students will learn putting technique through fun drills and games working to improve accuracy, control and mastering the basics. As the program progresses, students will work in teams to design and build new holes every week with fun themes the jump start children's activity and imagination. Teamwork, creative problem solving, and hands on learning and play all rolled into one. Begin an athletic journey with Multi-Sport Tots! This program offers a variety of sports, through fun, age-appropriate activities, enhancing balance, coordination, and fitness. This engaging introduction to multiple sports is packed with learning and teamwork! Parent participation is required with children 3.5-years and younger. Two programs are being offered:Mondays, 5pm-5:45pm (ages 2-3.5)*Parent Participation RequiredMarch 9th-April 13th (no class 3/23)

Pickleball Lessons & Coached Play - Spring Pickleball Lessons Beginner 1 Evening WELCOME TO SOUTHBOROUGH PICKLEBALLBEGINNER 1Come join Southborough Recreation as we offer an instructional pickleball program for people new to the sport or just beginning. Led by an instructor, learn the game's rules, techniques and skills and join your community on the courts! Our curriculum will begin with the basics and end with participants playing full games against each other.- Space is limited to 8 players per session.- Limited equipment available to use. It is encouraged to provide your own paddle.BEGINNER 2Players must have completed Beginner 1 clinic or rated 2.5 with knowledge of scoring and court positioning. This is for players who want to gain more confidence on the court and improve their overall pickleball experience. The program focuses on proper technique and mechanics in developing more consistency with shots like dinks, drops, groundstrokes, volleys, serves, etc.- Space is limited to 8 players per session.- Limited equipment available to use. It is encouraged to provide your own paddle.COACHED PLAY-UP THE RIVER, DOWN THE RIVERFor students that have taken a Beginner Level Two Clinic or are rated 2.75. Play for 12 minutes, the winning team moves up a court and splits and the losing team moves down a court and splits. During and between games get professional coaching, tips on technique and strategy. Also a great way to meet new players at your level!
