Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. She enjoys designing unique pieces and sharing her passion for stained glass with others. Ages: 13+ if accompanied with an adult. Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class - Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class
Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. She enjoys designing unique pieces and sharing her passion for stained glass with others. Ages: 13+ if accompanied with an adult. Chess Wizards is so popular with kids because of our unique structure. First, we let kids get the wiggles and giggles out with 10 minutes of free play and review of past taught topics. We then go right into the week's lessons. We separate students based on skill levels and teach different lessons best suited to their individual needs. All lessons have an activity and homework to accompany them and we have well over 80 different lessons to keep challenging our little wizards! Southborough Recreation Stained Glass Class This 6-week course will teach you everything you need to know to create beautiful stained-glass art made in the Tiffany style copper foil method. No experience necessary and open to all skill levels. The class will take you on a journey from selecting your pattern and glass, to cutting and grinding, to foiling and soldering, to framing and patina. All materials are included, and each participant will take home a finished art piece at the end to showcase proudly. Taught by Audra Murray, a Southborough resident. Audra has always loved stained glass, so she jumped at the opportunity to learn the art form when a class was offered. It was love at first cut, and she hasn’t stopped creating glass art ever since. Fall Pickleball Lessons - Fall Pickleball Lessons: Beginner II Morning Class
WELCOME TO SOUTHBOROUGH PICKLEBALLBEGINNER 1Come join Southborough Recreation as we offer an instructional pickleball program for people new to the sport or just beginning. Led by an instructor, learn the game's rules, techniques and skills and join your community on the courts! Our curriculum will begin with the basics and end with participants playing full games against each other.- Space is limited to 8 players per session.- Limited equipment available to use. It is encouraged to provide your own paddle.BEGINNER 2Players must have completed Beginner 1 clinic or rated 2.5 with knowledge of scoring and court positioning. This is for players who want to gain more confidence on the court and improve their overall pickleball experience. The Trading Card Club offers Neary students a safe and welcoming space to enjoy collecting and trading a variety of cards, including Pokémon, baseball, basketball, and more. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just getting started, this club is a great place to connect with others who share your interests! What We Do: Card Trading: Students can trade cards in a respectful and friendly environment. Trading Guidelines:
All trades must be mutual—both parties must agree.
Students should not touch another person’s cards without their permission.
Special or valuable cards should be kept at home to avoid loss or damage.
Why Join? The club promotes responsible trading and helps students build friendships through a shared passion for collecting. It’s a chance to show off your collection, learn about different types of trading cards, and meet others who love collecting too! Let’s trade, connect, and have fun! Are you a Lego master? If so, it’s time to show off your skills! Each week we present a new building challenge: From skyscrapers to zoos, bridges to airports, malls to main streets, and everything in between! First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will re
view the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks or how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed. Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it. Learning and Legos: Now that’s an adventure! Reminder, our RAP programs are now 6 weeks long!

Just like on the popular TV show, kids will be tasked with a challenge to re-create a confectionary masterpiece using pre-made ingredients like fondant, cake, cupcakes, rice krispies, and various frostings/icings based on Fall Halloween and Thanksgiving Themes. No experience necessary, just bring yourself, your imagination & take all of your masterpieces home to enjoy! All ingredients used are nut-free however; some pre-made ingredients may be processed in a facility that also processes nuts. Fall RAP session is now 6 weeks long!

Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function and will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics.
