  Kids’ Test Kitchen is on a mission to get young eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Let’s continue to redefine kid food; one lesson, and one child at a time!In this multi-hour vacation session, your eaters, working together, will prepare entrées, fun snacks, and side items whose key ingredients are known to be really good! During this time, we’ll focus on learning practical cooking skills, while finding fun ways to enjoy the produce of the season!We will use every second of our time together! Along with cooking and tasting, which will be the emphasis, we’ll also take short breaks to burn up some calories and flex our brain muscles – digging a bit deeper into the world of nutrition with fun activities.Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy KTK, where participation is expected, but tasting is always optional.Each session arrives with fresh new recipes and ideas to inspire your healthy eater!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Safe@Home is ideal for students that have expressed interest in assuming the responsibility of staying home alone. Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Ninja fitness classes give young athletes an immersive experience into the sport of Ninja. Students are introduced to a variety of obstacles and an interactive learning program.  Gain self-confidence As They become stronger and faster, their self-confidence will grow, and they'll be able to take pride in the physical things they can now do and appreciate the progress they've made. Increased mental focus Physical activity can also help their concentration skills, by providing a release valve for stress and pressure and encouraging higher levels of endorphins. If you can concentrate well on important work and social tasks, you’ll be happier overall. Learn to overcome problems With each new obstacle comes new problems to solve.  Students will learn how to problem-solve in a controlled and positive atmosphere. Co-eds in designated age groups will be dropped off at 7:00 PM at the Public Safety Building, where they’ll meet some of Southborough’s police officers and command staff for a brief Q&A session. From there, the group will walk to Woodward School for an hour of open gym and friendly pickup games.  Players will return to the Police Department for parent pickup at 9:00 PM.Program Dates:  NEW DATES ADDED Grades 5–6: January 9, January 23, February 6th, & February 27th Grades 7–8: January 16, January 30, & February 13th Sign up for one or both sessions! Ninja fitness classes give young athletes an immersive experience into the sport of Ninja. Students are introduced to a variety of obstacles and an interactive learning program.  Gain self-confidence As They become stronger and faster, their self-confidence will grow, and they'll be able to take pride in the physical things they can now do and appreciate the progress they've made. Increased mental focus Physical activity can also help their concentration skills, by providing a release valve for stress and pressure and encouraging higher levels of endorphins. If you can concentrate well on important work and social tasks, you’ll be happier overall. Learn to overcome problems With each new obstacle comes new problems to solve.  Students will learn how to problem-solve in a controlled and positive atmosphere. Ninja fitness classes give young athletes an immersive experience into the sport of Ninja. If you like to create and build things, this program is for you!  Enjoy an adventure of physics, gravity, and action and take home your very own engineering kit!  Through 26 model-building exercises, you’ll investigate all six classic simple machines — wheels and axles, levers, pulleys, inclined planes, screws, and wedges — as well as gears.  Students will follow easy step-by-step illustrated instructions to build each model, which includes a balance scale, elevator, and geared carousel!  Test your new creations to demonstrate basic laws of physics and how they exist in our everyday lives!  Young researchers will gain hands-on experience with the design process and learn about various topics in the fascinating world of engineering.  Come obtain the necessary skills and experience to take on the technological challenges of the future and continue your engineering journey at home!2026 RAP III REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 9TH

The unique program is designed to blend creativity, teamwork, and fundamental golf skills into an engaging experience. In this interactive science class, students explore basic science concepts through hands-on building and experimentation. Each week, kids create and test simple projects such as paper airplanes, rubber band instruments, and small catapults while learning about motion, force, sound, and design. Activities are structured as playful challenges that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity. Through guided experiments and discussion, students observe what happens, make predictions, and improve their  designs.
