Ninja fitness classes give young athletes an immersive experience into the sport of Ninja. Students are introduced to a variety of obstacles and an interactive learning program.
Gain self-confidence
As They become stronger and faster, their self-confidence will grow, and they'll be able to take pride in the physical things they can now do and appreciate the progress they've made.
Increased mental focus
Physical activity can also help their concentration skills, by providing a release valve for stress and pressure and encouraging higher levels of endorphins. If you can concentrate well on important work and social tasks, you’ll be happier overall.
Learn to overcome problems
With each new obstacle comes new problems to solve. Students will learn how to problem-solve in a controlled and positive atmosphere.
A report card will be given at the end of the session to highlight improved areas of growth and skill development. Winter Hoops with the Southborough Police Department REGISTRATION IS REQUIREDSouthborough Recreation, Southborough Youth Basketball, and the Southborough Police Department are teaming up for Winter Hoops!Join us on Friday nights in January for an evening of basketball, fun, and community connection. Co-eds in designated age groups will be dropped off at 7:00 PM at the Public Safety Building, where they’ll meet some of Southborough’s police officers and command staff for a brief Q&A session. From there, the group will walk to Woodward School for an hour of open gym and friendly pickup games. Safe Sitter® babysitting classes have been preparing young teens to care for younger children for over 40 years. The program follows guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. Students will learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. They will learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering and baby care. Learn skills such as choking rescue and learning a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students will receive a certification of completion of the class.

Safe Sitter ® Babysitting class + CPR/AED certification - Safe Sitter ® babysitting class + CPR/AED certification
Safe Sitter® babysitting classes have been preparing young teens to care for younger children for over 40 years. The program follows guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. Students will learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. They will learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering and baby care. Learn skills such as choking rescue and learning a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students will receive a certification of completion of the class.

SIDEKICKS is a captivating class for children 2.5 and 3.5 year-olds and their sidekick (sidekick to include parent, grandparent, and guardian), encouraging little Ninjas to engage with their peers as they warm up and practice their physical and social skills! The coaches, along with parents, will guide the "sidekicks" through an easy to navigate obstacle course - no ninja experience required!
