Join us in making a beautiful, festive moravian star for the holiday season. We'll use the traditional Tiffany-style method in stained glass. No experience necessary. You'll learn how to cut, grind, foil, solder, and care for stained glass. This is a one-day class, and all class supplies will be provided. WELCOME TO SOUTHBOROUGH PICKLEBALLBEGINNER 1Come join Southborough Recreation as we offer an instructional pickleball program for people new to the sport or just beginning. Led by an instructor, learn the game's rules, techniques and skills and join your community on the courts! Our curriculum will begin with the basics and end with participants playing full games against each other.- Space is limited to 8 players per session.- Limited equipment available to use. It is encouraged to provide your own paddle.BEGINNER 2Players must have completed Beginner 1 clinic or rated 2.5 with knowledge of scoring and court positioning. This is for players who want to gain more confidence on the court and improve their overall pickleball experience. The program focuses on proper technique and mechanics in developing more consistency with shots like dinks, drops, groundstrokes, volleys, serves, etc.- Space is limited to 8 players per session.- Limited equipment available to use. The program follows guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. Students will learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. They will learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering and baby care. Learn skills such as choking rescue and learning a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students will receive a certification of completion of the class.

This F.A.S.T. Mat Ball game is set up with 5 bases, the offensive team can have as many players as they chose on each base at any given time. Just like in kickball, the games are played with 3 outs and up to 6 innings per class. Teamwork, great base running and strategic kicking are the keys to success in this program! Southborough Recreation has partnered with Southborough Youth Basketball to offer you Pre-k Biddy Basketball. Come prepared to learn and sweat in this 8-week program with Game Time Training! Learn the very basics of basketball and then graduate to our intermediate program in a jiff! In this program, we ensure each player understands the spots on the court, the importance of triple threat position, dribbling technique, shooting technique and defense, defense, and DEFENSE! Like all GTT programs, the music is blaring, the energy is alive and the kids have a blast! Must be potty trained.All players must wear sneakers, and bring a water bottle and size 27.5' basketball each week.

Enjoy a Day in New York City!
Details: Bus will depart from the Ashland Community Center at 6:00 AM Sharp on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Loading will begin at 5:45 AM. We will make one rest stop on the way down and arrive in NYC at approximately 10:00 AM. The bus will unload in the Rockefeller Center/St Patrick's Cathedral area. The bus will depart NYC from the New York Palace located on Madison Ave between 50/51 streets at 7:00 PM. Street parking is extremely limited and the pick up time can shift based upon traffic, guests should check in by 6:45 PM.Again there will be a stop on the drive home and we should arrive back to the Ashland Community Center around 11:00 PM.

Southborough Recreation has partnered with Southborough Youth Basketball to offer you Pre-k Biddy Basketball. Come prepared to learn and sweat in this 8-week program with Game Time Training! Learn the very basics of basketball and then graduate to our intermediate program in a jiff! In this program, we ensure each player understands the spots on the court, the importance of triple threat position, dribbling technique, shooting technique and defense, defense, and DEFENSE! Like all GTT programs, the music is blaring, the energy is alive and the kids have a blast! Must be potty trained.All players must wear sneakers, and bring a water bottle and size 27.5' basketball each week.
